France is home to some of the most incredible artists of all time, renowned for sparking bold new movements as well as producing classical works. New generations of great French artists are emerging and we are proud to help these up-and-coming talents receive the attention they deserve.
The owner of Apartment Nice came up with a concept to curate art in the apartment to introduce unique French art to the international guests who stay with us. We want to provide our guests with a unique experience, educate them about local artists, and provide inspiration to add to or start their own art collection. All presented paintings are for sale.
Our first artist in residence is Anna Petrika, she uses strong colours to evoke emotions in the viewer. She is inspired by the universal phenomena, the big day-to-day issues, which can affect every human from the beginning of the times, regardless of his era, concerning the intimity of this fragile being in spite of appearances.
